Meet Harry

Harry Winnall is an Adelaide based photographer and filmmaker with a fascination for people, places and the details that give them character.

His work moves through food, hospitality, culture and travel, from crowded dining rooms and late night bars to vineyards, festivals and the quieter moments behind the scenes. Whether working commercially or simply carrying a camera somewhere interesting, Harry approaches photography with the same idea. Make the viewer feel like they were there.

Over the past several years, his work has become closely connected with South Australia’s hospitality and creative scene, photographing some of Australia's most distinctive restaurants, chefs, bars and events. His images have appeared in leading publications including and across editorial and commercial campaigns throughout the country.

While the subject matter changes, the approach remains constant natural moments, strong atmosphere, considered light and a sense of place. The aim is less about making something look perfect and more about finding what makes it worth remembering.
